Are you using Microsoft Internet Explorer? Which version then? The latest version? Well, if you are using it, you must be wondering why this page renders so plainly. This page renders well, with applied font styles and formatting, in other standards compliant browsers, especially Gecko-based ones. If you view the source of this web page, there is a stylesheet linked to it:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css" />
Somehow the styles couldn't be read by IE. Why? All thanks to the CSS media-dependent @import
rule. IE can couldn't read the following @import
rule, with one media type:
@import url("stylesheet.css") screen;
But, IE cannot also couldn't read the following @import
rule, with more than one media type:
@import url("stylesheet.css") screen,projection;
So, there you got it. If you are being cruel to NS4 by using the @import
rule, why not do the same to IE too by adding a few more some media types?

* I've made a mistake. Somehow during testing this page, IE seems to be able to read the screen
media. But actually, it couldn't.
